Valet, garages, and where a premium car parks
Waikīkī hotels, Ala Moana, and the Kāhala side all handle premium vehicles as a matter of course. Low front ends deserve a little care on steep garage entries and on the older ramps in town.
Overnight parking in Waikīkī is charged by the night at almost every property, and valet is the common arrangement. Ask the hotel what it charges when you book the room rather than at check-in, because the figure varies widely along one street.
Fuel and charging
Several premium vehicles take premium grade, and each vehicle page states the grade where the record carries one. Returning a car fuelled below its listed grade creates a recovery charge, so the last fill of the trip is worth doing at the right pump.

The east side from Waikīkī around Diamond Head to Kāhala is the one people remember: smooth road, ocean on the right, and no reason to hurry. The climb over the Pali rewards a car with real torque, and the long straight sections of the H-3 are among the most scenic highway miles anywhere.
